MR.DIY x Soroptimist International Club of Damansara (SID)
DIY and Soroptimist International Club of Damansara (SID) visited 3 homes on 17th March 2021 to provide household and personal care items to those in need.

 


1st Home: Pure Life Society, Puchong, Selangor

The Pure Life Society is a home for orphans and underprivileged children, and was founded by the Pure Life Society President Swami Satyananda, on 15 July 1950, who was involved in relief work among the poor, the orphans, and the displaced children both in Malaya and Singapore.
 
 
 

2nd Home: Assunta Children Society, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Initiated in 1966 by Sr. Theresa Gier, Assunta Children Society has been set up as a learning centre, that enabled them to direct tasks of protecting, caring, and supporting the kids while they lived with their families.
 



3rd Home: B2 Desa Mentari Learning Centre, Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Established in 2011, the B2 Desa Mentari Learning Centre is a centre that offers free tuition to students from underprivileged and broken families who stay at Desa Mentari Flat.
 

DIY and Soroptimist International Club of Damansara (SID) hopes to continue delivering happiness and support towards those in need in the future.
