MR.DIY first opened its doors in July 2005 as a small hardware store in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Today, MR.DIY has grown to become one of the largest home improvement retailers worldwide, expanding its stores network in countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia, India and Turkey.
