MR.DIY COVID-19 CSR: University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC)
On 20 March 2020, MR.DIY made a donation of products — 90 boxes of mineral water bottles and 20 boxes of biscuits, to University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC). This donation was a token of goodwill and gratitude from us to them, for their tireless effort in fighting the Covid-19 outbreak. This pandemic has claimed the lives of over 16,000 people worldwide, and affected hundreds of thousands more. As of now, Malaysia has the highest number of Covid-19 cases in Southeast Asia.
Even as we make this donation — which we hope will help the front-liners at UMMC, we urge all Malaysians to play your part and to stay home to ease the burden on our healthcare system.
