MR.DIY CSR: Beach Clean-Up at Kilim, Langkawi

In a remarkable environmental initiative, MR.DIY teamed up with Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) for a beach clean-up program at Pantai Teluk Mempelam in Langkawi. Thanks to the dedication of 25 passionate volunteers, the event achieved remarkable success.

Equipped with gloves, grabber tools, rakes and garbage bags, the passionate volunteers combed through the shoreline, diligently removing a staggering 40 bags (equivalent to 200kg) of garbage. The collected waste comprised plastic bottles, styrofoam, food wrappers, and fish gubbins, shedding light on the pressing need to address plastic pollution. The clean-up event emphasized the significance of sustainable practices for a cleaner and healthier coastline.
