MR.DIY has launched its second series of the ‘MR.DIY Home Improvement’ program aimed for the underprivileged families. On 17th April, MR.DIYCares stepped forward to clean, refurbish, repaint, and organize the kitchen areas of a family residing in PPR HICOM.

The volunteers used tools available at MR.DIY stores like paint rollers, brushes, and trays to paint the kitchen walls. The volunteers also devised practical solutions to organize the kitchen utensils and essentials with the help of appliances such as storage racks, baskets, cutlery holders, spin mop sets, container jars, garbage bins, broom sets, movable 3-tier storage racks, and floor mats, which are available at MR.DIY stores. In addition, the volunteers not only applied a light grey color to the window frames but also replaced the old sink with a new one.

MR.DIYCares team filled the house with Hari Raya Aidilfitri decorations to liven up the festive spirit. These decorations are also available at MR.DIY stores during the festive season.

The MR.DIY Home Improvement program is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project to improve the kitchen area in a cost-effective manner.
