MR.DIY CSR: MR.DIY x Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) Tree Planting at Bukit Persekutuan
Recently, MR. DIY partnered with the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) to plant forest trees sapling at one of Kuala Lumpur's last green lungs located at Bukit Persekutuan. This CSR initiative is an effort to raise awareness of the importance of planting and saving trees to reduce the unfavourable effects of climate change. 20 volunteers from Retail Management, Distribution Centre, Finance, and HODs joined hands together to ensure this CSR was successful.
The volunteers planted about 100 forest trees sapling from the Merbau, Gaharu, Kedondong Hutan, and Kelat Jambu Laut species. By planting more trees, we are doing our part in preserving our forests. Thank you to the volunteers who came to lend a hand in preserving our forests.
