MR.DIY contributed essentials to University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC)
MR.DIY made a contribution of products — 90 boxes of mineral water bottles and 20 boxes of biscuits, to University Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC). This contribution was a token of goodwill and gratitude from us to them, for their tireless effort in fighting the Covid-19 outbreak. Even as we make this contribution — which we hope will help the front-liners at UMMC, we urge all Malaysians to play your part and to stay home to ease the burden on our healthcare system. MR.DIY continues to provide support to medical superheroes in fighting the Covid-19 outbreak. Did you know the Face Shield is one of the crucial Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used by the medical frontliners when treating Covid-19 patients? With expert help from the Malaysian Dental Association to make them, we played our part by contributing materials to make 300 units of face shields to be distributed to Hospital Putrajaya, Hospital Ampang, Hospital Selayang, and Hospital Sungai Buloh. MR.DIY contributions vary from Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Food & Beverage and stationery. We greatly appreciate Hospital Sg. Buloh representatives for coming over to MR.DIY’s HQ to collect stationery - 400 units of management files, 200 units of masking tapes, 50 units of permanent markers and 100 units of ballpoint pens for the hospital’s administration needs. We hope our small contribution will help to ease the burden of the hospital in finding stationery supplies during this Movement Control Order (MCO).

MR.DIY is here for our healthcare heroes. We recently visited St. John Ambulance of Malaysia and contributed materials for them to make 300 units of face shields. It is crucial for our frontliners to be well protected as they fight to save us against Covid-19.
Thank you to all our unsung heroes in the frontline fighting against Covid-19 and for protecting the whole nation from it. MR.DIY would like to be part of this meaningful mission with our heroes. So today, we contributed 170 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) suits and 5,000 face masks to Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab 2, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. This contribution is a token of gratitude from us for their endless effort.
We recently assisted the Association of Islamic Banking & Financial Institutions Malaysia (AIBIM) to deliver contribution items bought from MR.DIY to Hospital Sungai Buloh and Hospital Tuanku Jaafar, Seremban. It was an honor to serve together for our healthcare system in light of COVID-19 outbreak. Learn more here.
Our staffs packed the inventories into respective boxes for deliveries to the designated hospitals. In collaboration with The Edge Covid-19 Fund raised by Corporate Malaysia, we are delivering these medical safety supplies together with 3 non-governmental organisations — Mercy Malaysia, IMARET-Islamic Medical Association of Malaysia and Malaysian Relief Agency.
