Project Implementation Manager - Warehouse

Responsibilities:

  • Project manage all IT Services and software projects as assigned.
  • Create and maintain all implementation documentation.
  • Provide training and support on the WMS and WCS implementation projects.
  • Managing the project risk and opportunities in project execution, meeting contractual delivery time and key milestone, getting SIT/UAT on time and resolve project conflicts.
  • Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical individuals to finalise the software blueprints and requirements.
  • Effectively communicate requirements and deliverables to all levels of the organization.

  • PMP or similar certification is a plus, but not required.

Education and/or Experience

  • Degree in Software Engineering and/or Information Technology with more than 5 (five) years managing a wide variety of custom WMS or WCS projects, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Good knowledge of warehouse management systems (preferably from an automated warehouse operations perspective) with some basic experience in warehouse operations (preferred);
  • Good experience with technical systems, especially in Warehouse Management System and Warehouse Control System (preferred).
  • Project management experience, leading teams, working with customers, coordination in a very high paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and to manage the expectation and satisfaction both internally and externally.
  • Process-oriented with excellent project management, people management and organizational skills and problem-solving skills. PMP certification or equivalent training is an advantage.
  • Good presentation, facilitation, negotiation, interpersonal and intercultural skills, with an ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
  • Hands on experience working with WMS and WCS from implementation to configuration is desirable.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with groups of managers, clients, and customers.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must be a self-starter with a positive and contributory attitude to overcome problems quickly and effectively and able to work without supervision.
